Sakura Mini glassware

Best-in-class glassware

Sakura and Sakura Mini double and triple wall vessels are engineered to the most exacting specifications, ensuring the highest level of thermal control for your process. Their superior vessel geometries and minimized oil jacket volume mean that you can rely on AGI Glassplant reactors to give you peak performance.

Ring Baffle Vessel Technology

Sakura’s optional Ring Baffle Vessel Technology offers premier temperature control. This proprietary AGI Glassplant glassware features circular baffles within the oil jacket that induce uniform flow of the heat transfer fluid, enhancing thermal exchange between the jacket and the process. Our proprietary wall thickness optimization method further improves energy exchange and mechanical stability in the vessel.

Cyclone Vessel Technology

Both Sakura and Sakura Mini double and triple wall vessels feature AGI Glassplant’s proprietary Cyclone Vessel Technology as standard. This novel vessel design induces cyclonic flow of heat transfer fluid, ensuring uniform heat distribution for improved process efficiency.

Enhanced vessel geometry

Sakura and Sakura Mini vessels feature small jacket sizes and enhanced vessel geometry that mimic glass-lined stainless steel industrial reactor vessels, making scaling your process as intuitive as possible.

User-friendly design

Save time and labor with Sakura and Sakura Mini’s user-friendly design. Many tasks only require one user to complete, and modern design features make operating the reactors as simple as possible.

Liftless stirrer coupling eliminates the need to lift heavy stirrer motors above head height, for quicker and safer removal of the stirrer.

Vessel removal has been completely re-imagined, requiring less time and labor. The vessel or lid can stay in place while the other is removed, and a purpose-built trolley can be supplied to make maneuvering heavy vessels effortless.

Novel run-off design of the removeable bottom outlet valve helps to prevent the formation of deposits and allows thorough cleaning.

Torque-limited vessel clamps include intuitive indicators to protect your glassware from overtightening.

Maximize the functionality of your Sakura or Sakura Mini with AGI Glassplant’s extended range of ancillary glassware including condensers and distillation equipment, feed vessels, spray balls, collection vessels, and many more.

Quick vessel switch-out

Sakura Mini features tool-free, quick vessel switch-out technology that lets you exchange vessels in under 30 minutes. The vessel or lid can remain in place when the other is removed, and a purpose-built trolley and oil-pipe holders make maneuvering and changing heavy vessels a single-user task.

Optimized stirring

Sakura and Sakura Mini offer a choice of three different stirrer: anchor, retreat curve impeller and our proprietary Molepaw design – giving you plenty of options when considering the mass flow patterns of your reactions.

The innovative wing-shape design of the Molepaw is suitable for the most challenging reactor conditions. It improves mixing times compared to conventional three-wing impeller/Bendleaf designs, and allows a minimum volume of as little as 3 % liquid.

Unlock Automation

Sakura and Sakura Mini integrate seamlessly with the AGI Glassplant Pilot Reactor Controller. The Pilot Reactor Controller oversees every stage of your process, giving you precise control, automation and replicability to streamline workflows and free up valuable time.
